Spring has finally sprung! Here’s how I chose my perfect pair of spring heels to make sure I walked into spring comfortably and stylishly:
1. Comfort: No matter what the shoe is, I am always motivated by comfort -especially if it’s hunting for the right pair for heels. I am in love with these brown open toe heels because the thicker heel provides more support. I feel more comfortable walking around the city knowing that a thicker heel will provide the support and comfort I need to last through the day!
2. Open Toe: I absolutely loved how these heels were a hybrid bootie/heel with the open toe. I fell for these heels after trying them on and realizing that I don’t have any open toe heels in my shoe closet. So when looking for your perfect spring heel, think about the heels that are already in your wardrobe. Trying a different style of heels is always exciting and great way to diversify your closet.
3. Deep Brown Color: I definitely gravitate towards more earthier tones and basics. I have plenty of black pair of heels, so I am loving the deep brown color of these heels. I’m excited to pair these heels with florals, blush, pinks, tans, and deep greens.
In this look, I wore a light cream dress with soft petal detailing. I kept it simple (as always) with small gold accents. And it definitely wouldn’t be spring in Seattle without a visit and a photo shoot in the Quad! (Hence, the lots of people walking around in the background of many of the pictures.) I hope you enjoyed the post and the cherry blossoms this year.
