Little black dress meet the world, world meet the little black dress. Now that you’ve met, here are three things for spring to make statement with a the #LBD.
1. The Little Black Dress: is arguably one of the most iconic pieces a woman could have in her closet. When searching for the perfect LBD, keep in mind where you’d like to take it For me, I needed a LBD that could go from class to late night happy hour with a swap of shoes and a touch of accessories. So naturally, I fell in love with this cotton black dress. I absolutely love how the material fell and made natural softer pleated waves.
2. The Statement: It wouldn’t be spring without a statement necklace, so try layering two complementing necklaces with your LBD. Try a stone necklace and contrast it with a smaller piece like a golden feather. Statement necklaces are such a fun way to glam up a look especially if you’re wearing a simple dress.
3. Mixing Black & Brown (Spring Trend Alert!): One thing I’ve been noticing this spring is the pairing of brown & black. It may seem challenging at first, pairing two standard neutrals, but one way to achieve this style trend is color blocking with clothing and shoes. In this look, I paired brown heeled booties with the LBD and tied it together with a vintage floral printed bag. I finished the look with a strong statement around my neck and slight gold accents on my wrist.
