I’m feeling a little rebellious in spring by embracing a darker color palette. Usually, spring is about the florals, the peplum tops, chiffon dresses, and the fringe for festival season. In this look, I styled my navy top with dark green shorts. I paired my look with my favorite slip cut out slip ons and oversized tan bags. Here’s a trend to follow from my look that you can personally incorporate into your spring wardrobe:

Trend Alert: The Perforated Shoe
(By the way, “perforated” means pierced or to make holes in. So perforated shoes have cut outs/holes all over the material to create a design or pattern). I first picked up these slip on perforated Franco Shoes last summer at Nordstrom Rack. I hadn’t seen seen slip on shoes with the perforated material up until I discovered these shoes. I found them to be the perfect summer slip on and I’m bringing them out again for spring. I’m seeing the perforated shoes again in the Franco Sarto spring/summer line at Nordstrom and also with other various shoe designers. They’re super comfortable and pretty much goes with everything!
