I love the start of the New Year! Every year I take the time to sit down and write out my resolutions. One of my resolutions this year is to shop more secondhand items. (hehe of course shopping more is in my resolutions). I recently attended the Value Village Runway Reimagined Fashion Show at AXIS in Pioneer Square. I was inspired by all the looks created from donated clothes sold in Value Village. I was also shocked to learn that the average American threw away 65 pounds of clothing every year. I have to admit I am an avid shopper and I don’t want to be this statistic. So one of my new years resolutions is to shop more secondhand and to donate more clothes to Value Village and Goodwill.
Second hand shopping definitely has its perks. I found this chunky, orange sweater at Value Village for only $6.99. I love mixing second hand with my every day style so I paired this sweater with ripped jeans and black booties. I finished the look with a classic white Kate Spade bag.
What are some of your new years resolutions? Share them with me! Thank you for reading 🙂
Love,
Emma
