One of my favorite accessories this fall is my Koa & Ash Wood Watch from JORD watches. This is a standout piece in my accessory collection. Today’s
post is all about how to style your wood watch. This is my first wood watch I’ve
ever owned. I’ve traditionally worn silver or gold metal watches both in the
office and everyday life. I was so excited to receive a wood watch because it’s
a timeless piece with a material twist. I had to think about how I wanted to
build an outfit around this special watch and today I’m sharing two things to

Embrace
Earth Tones: Play up the natural elements of your wood watch by pulling
together earth tones in your outfit. Blues, greens, creams, greys, and browns
will all compliment your standout accessory. Embracing an earthy palette will
also add cohesiveness to your look. Your fall outfit could either be a warm or
cooler aesthetic depending on which colors you decide to pull together.

Style Tip: Aside from pulling
together earth tones, you can add pops
of color from a fall palette to
help play up your outfit and keeping together your aesthetic. Add a burgundy or
rusty orange scarf to a grey or cream shirt. Or add a structured navy jacket
with the sleeves slightly rolled up to show off your wood watch.

Keep it
Simple: When building an outfit around your wood watch. Keep in mind how busy
or simple your outfit might be. Are you wearing bright colors or bold prints?
If so, you’re outfit may be cute, but it will distract people from seeing your
watch. If you’re looking to create a similar look, search for simple t-shirt
dresses, army green or tan jackets, and your staple fall bootie to pull
together. You’ll be on trend and also be wearing an outfit that helps your wood
watch stand out.

Style tip:
If you love bold prints and want to incorporate them into your outfit without
making it too busy, think about adding the prints subtly. Pair your outfit with
a printed clutch or ballet flat.
There’s simple ways to still add prints without overwhelming your entire look
and pulling the focus away from your watch.
