This Holiday season, I’m reflecting on how thankful I am for this incredible partnership with AEO. Here are three reasons why I love partnering with AEO:

1.       I get to bring the brand to life in my Filipino-American,
Seattle based, female perspective way.

One of my most popular posts to this day is
“A Face of AEO”. I published this post as a Back to School Ambassador this past
fall. At the start of my journey with AEO in fall, I was astounded that a major
brand would ask me to help represent them. Now at this point of my blogging
journey, I am growing to be more and more confident as a writer, a model, and
overall a voice in the fashion industry. I’m learning to be bolder in writing
and learning how to push through my fears about sharing more vulnerable posts
about my life. I hope that AEO, my friends, and family have enjoyed my
partnership with AEO as much as I have. I am incredibly thankful to represent a
major brand with my unique identity.

2.       This partnership has pushed me to be more
creative.

My partnership with AEO has pushed me to
think about how I want to define my brand and decide how to produce
new content
for Emma’s Edition. My holiday partnership inspired me to showcase more of the Northwest – from my
secret retreats in Seattle to exploring the Snoqualmie/North Bend area, I
wanted all of you to experience my life in the Northwest. I believe the photos
I’ve shared with you through this partnership reflect a very true depiction of
living in Western Washington. Even in the city, you are never too far from
escaping into a trail and sprawling woods (which is one of my favorite things
about living in Seattle).

3.       I love styling new looks!

Obviously one of my favorite reasons I love
partnering with AEO is because I get to style new looks for all of you! This
winter season was all about chic neutrals and cozy knits. AEO was also on trend
this season with their velvet pieces and oversized cardigans! I hope I can
continue to style and inspire you to try new trends in 2017!

Style Tip: For a Casual Chic Christmas look, pair a cozy
sweater with simple grey or black pants and add two tone heels. These Chanel
inspired heels fortunately did not come with the Chanel price tag. Thankfully
these Nine West heels were only $40 and still came with the chicness of a
Chanel heel. I recommend adding a neutral accessory like a blush (such a
popular color this season) purse and a pom beanie to keep the outfit simple,
but chic.

Thank you for reading! Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays
everyone!

Love,

Emma
