As a Seattle Fashion blogger I am always on the hunt to find new places to take photos at in Seattle. As I wander around the streets of downtown or a neighborhood in Seattle, I am always on the look out. Over the years I’ve found some amazing spots to shoot in Seattle so I thought I would share these spots with you today. So if you’ve been googling “where to take photos in Seattle”, I’ve got you covered!
Outdoor:
Central Parking Pioneer Square Garage

If you’re looking for an urban, city themed shoot, I highly recommend the top level of this parking garage! I shot two looks for American Eagle Outfitters Back to School 2016 here. (Click the link above to see the full posts and ideas of where to shoot around the parking garage)
Pike Place Market

If you can handle the crowds and you want a classic Seattle themed shoot, Pike Place Market is perfect. The gum wall and iconic Public Market sign makes a perfect backdrop.
University Village

Uville is one of my favorite places to shop in Seattle! I used to live near Uville when I went to UW so I have an affinity for this area. Besides having great shopping, Uville has lots of different walls and textures to for interesting back drops. I’d recommend wandering through Ravenna Gardens if you’re looking for spring themed shoots.
The Fremont Troll

Most people just take photos with the Fremont troll, but the entire area is actually a great place to shoot photos. I’d recommend using the stairs at either side of the troll or even shooting downward towards the water:
Indoor:
Volunteer Park Conservatory

This incredible space in Seattle. If it’s ever pouring on the day of your photo shoot, make your way to Volunteer Park Conservatory. There’s a couple different spaces inside the conservatory – the cacti/succulent area, the fern area, and seasonal house area. Plus, this place always has pretty good lighting.
Seattle Public Library

I think the Seattle Public Library is one of the coolest buildings in Seattle. The symmetrical lines make such dynamic photos! But just be aware that the library is always pretty busy!
Preserve & Gather Coffee Shop

One of the best things about shooting in a coffee shop? You get to drink coffee and eat in between your shoot! Hehe.. Anyways this is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle because of its gorgeous wall.
Starbucks Roastery & Reserve

The Roastery is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle. I especially love this place because its the only in the country and I love Starbucks! You can watch the coffee beans go by and sip your coffee in between shots.
Now that you’ve gone through the list, what are your favorite places in Seattle for photo shoots?
Thank you for reading!
Love,
Emma

These are all such great location recommendations for shoots!! So curious to know what time you went to the Starbucks Roastery for the photos in your post. I don't think I've ever seen so many open seats there before!
