I may not be going to Coachella this weekend but I’ve got
some local events you can go to this weekend that you can still dress
up, dress down, and dress cute for. With destroyed denim and bell sleeves,
you can still bring festival vibes into your weekend look. You can even recreate

Here are 7 Seattle events happening this weekend:
1. Friday April 14th–
Sunday April 15th : Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers
The Ken Griffey Jr. statue was unveiled outside of Safeco
field yesterday! And for tonight’s game, 45,000 fans will take home mini
replicas of the statue. You can buy tickets here.
2. Saturday April 15th:
Free State Park Day!
Get outside and go on an adventure to any of these 140
Washington State Parks. The next Free State Park Day will be on April 22nd
on Earth Day!
3. Saturday April 15th:
U District Neighborhood Farmers Market
If you’re looking for something to do Saturday morning,
check out the U
District Farmers market.
4. Friday April 14th
& Saturday April 15th: University of Washington Baseball Game
UW hosts the OSU Beavers this weekend. OSU is ranked #1 in
the Pac 12. Huskies won the first game of the series last night with 3:2 win –
ending OSU’s 23 game winning streak. I may actually go to cheer on the Huskies
tomorrow because my boyfriend wants to watch the game. You can buy tickets here.
5. Friday April 14th–
Sunday April 16th: Sakura-Con
Even though pre-registration prices are no longer available,
you can still buy tickets at the
door for $75 if you’re wanting to go to Sakura-Con. I’ve personally never
been, but this event is always really big in Seattle. Last year, 26,000 people
came to this incredible event.
6. Friday April 14th
– 30th: Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
Spring has finally arrived in Seattle the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is
happening! Sunday is supposed to be a really nice day so it may be a good day
to check out the festival.
7. Friday April 14th
– May 21st: LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil
I highly recommend attending this show! You can read my
full review of this amazing show in a previous post if you’re debating
about going. This show would be a great date or family night this weekend.

8. Friday April 14th – Saturday April 15th: The Vera Project
Beatmatch is going to be judged by Ryan Lewis tonight. Saturday night, The Vera Project House Party is featuring Animal Camera, Ramona, and Hard Sulks.
9. Sunday April 16th: Easter Egg Hunt at Stevens Pass
Did you know you can go to Sunrise Service at the Tye Creek Lodge and join in for an Easter Egg Hunt? You can find all of the event details here.
10. Saturday April 15th: Bunny Bounce at Woodland Park Zoo
The Bunny Bounce event is hosting egg hunts for kids 8 yrs old and younger. You can also see thelions, grizzlies, and meerkats while you’re visiting the zoo!
