As
much as I love refreshing my wardrobe for each season, I love to also keep
staples in my wardrobe.

I invest in pieces I can wear in an entire year or even
longer. Staples are all about function, versatility, and necessity. Here are 4
staple pieces in my wardrobe, regardless of the seasons:

1.   Destroyed Pair of Denim

A pair of destroyed jeans that fit
you well are a must have in your closet. It’s funny how a destroyed pair of
jeans can be casual, cool, and chic depending on how you style it. I have
destroyed pairs of jeggings, skinny jeans, and boyfriend jeans. This straight
cut destroyed pair of jeans
featured in this post is my favorite pair of jeans
this season.

2.   White Tank Top or White T-Shirt

A classic white tank top or t shirt is a necessity for every
wardrobe. The white t-shirt or white tank top can be worn so many different ways and in every season. You can choose to layer your tank top or t-shirt with sweaters, cardigans, flannels or blazers. You can also just rock classic white tank top and t-shirt with a pair of blue jeans.

3.   Black Booties with a Block Heel (Open toe)

My favorite types of heels to wear are block heels. To me,
they’re so much more comfortable than a stiletto heel. I literally could walk
around these open toe block heels all day without a problem. I picked up these
shoes at Nordstrom Rack at the end of the winter season. I can wear these shoes
in spring, summer, and the beginning of fall.

4.    Flannel

If you grew up in the Northwest, a flannel is a must have in
your closet.
I wear flannels year round – in spring and summer, I use flannels
as a light cover for cooler days or evenings. In fall and winter, I layer
flannels with sweaters, jackets, and vests. You can find great flannels in
second hand stores like Goodwill or Value Village or at retailers.

What are your wardrobe staples? What staples do you recommend you add to your wardrobe?
