Spring into Winter Style Challenge:
Ahh I’m so excited to share everyone who participated on my first style challenge ever. Earlier this season, I’m invited you to spring into winter Style Challenge. I first shared how I styled my spring into winter look by taking my favorite spring jumper (first featured on the blog here) into winter. I added neutral blue and white striped turtleneck sweater and a fuzzy green vest to make this pair of overalls appropriate for winter.
I believe that with a little bit of styling and a little bit of love, we can maximize all of our wardrobes –regardless of the season.
So here are the beautiful women who joined me in the Spring Into Winter Challenge!
Emma | @emmasnob
I love how Emma took her spring/summer maxi dress into winter by styling it as a duster. She was so creative in how she paired her dress and jeans together!
Marellen | @marellenmaday| www.marellenmadayag.com
Mare took her ruffled blouse into winter by styling it with over the knee boots and a leather jacket! Honestly you can take most of your blouses into winter by layering and styling them with winter-ish pieces.
Tanya | @mysundayclothes | mysundayclothes.com
Tanya lives in SoCal so she’s lucky she still gets 80 degree weather! (It’s literally in the 30s in Seattle). I love how she styled her printed maxi dress with this reddish/magenta moto jacket!
Casey | @dressedtocode
I love how Casey brought her lightweight silk scarf into winter! She styled it perfectly with this forest green blouse and a staple black hat! You can take your spring/summer accessories – like this hat and style them into winter by wearing them with darker, deeper colors like greens, reds, and even navy blues.
Molly |@lovelyyoubymolly | lovelyyoubymolly.com
Molly took her summer white jeans into winter by pairing them with black booties and a cardigan! White jeans can definitely belong in winter!
Nancy | @happilyevernancy | www.happilyevernancy.com
Nancy brought her embroidered summer dress into winter with suede booties and a moto jacket! My favorite thing about Nancy’s look is the embroidery on her dress. I predict that embroidery will still be a great trend to rock in 2018!
Kacee | @kaceedewit | www.kaceedewit.com
Kacee took her striped top and paired it with a cute black hat! She recommends pairing it with a pea coat or cardigan for extra warmth!
I love how Megan brought her colorful summer culottes into winter by styling it with a simple blue sweater and flats! Your favorite summer/spring skirts and pants can easily be winterize by adding a cute cozy sweater!
I also wanted to congratulate Megan on winning the #SpringIntoWinter Style Challenge! I’ll be sending her a $50 gift card to Nordstrom.
Thank you to all the fantastic ladies who styled such fabulous looks for my first style challenge. I’ll probably set up another one sometime in spring/winter. So stay tuned!
Thank you for reading!
