As Seattle’s unofficial Instagram Queen, I’m dedicating this summer to showing you Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places by neighborhood! This month I’m sharing the most Instagram worthy spots in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
If you’re heading to Seattle this summer for a vacation or staycation and you want some cute pictures for Instagram, this blog post is for you!
Where is Capitol Hill in Seattle?
Capitol Hill is on the other side of the freeway and up the hill from Downtown Seattle. Capitol Hill (Cap Hill) used to be known as Broadway Hill – since Broadway is one of the main streets that runs through the neighborhood. Cap Hill is one of Seattle’s most lively neighborhoods. From the rainbow sidewalks to the bars and the restaurants, there is a ton to see, eat, and do in Capitol Hill. There’s also amazing coffee shops and dessert places!
If you’re looking to explore these places in Capitol Hill, I recommend either parking near Cal Anderson Park or just ubering into the neighborhood. Parking can be a challenge in Capitol Hill. But almost all of these places featured in this blog post are within walking distance. So whether you decide to park or uber, you’ll be able to see almost all these places by just crossing a few streets!

Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places: The Saint:
If you’re looking for the brightest, pinkest building in Capitol Hill, you have to stop by the Saint. The Saint opened in 2008 and recently traded in its see green/turquoise exterior for a hot pink one! The Saint is a homestyle Mexican restaurant and a great stop for a late night happy hour!
UPDATE: As of March 2019, the Saint has been repainted BLACK. It’s no longer hot pink!

Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places: Sweet Iron Waffles
If you’re looking for a breakfast or dessert or BOTH, Sweet Iron Waffles is the spot! My friends and I first wandered in here after grabbing dinner one night. We split a strawberries and whipped cream waffle and it was delicious! Sweet Iron Waffles has both sweet and savory desserts. So if your craving Nutella and fruit on your waffles and your friends are craving bacon, brie, or prosciutto, Sweet Iron has something for all of you! Plus the yellow and white interior is absolutely Instagram worthy!

You’ve probably heard of the Oddfellow’s Café & Bar but have you heard of the Little Oddfellows Café? If you’re looking for a minimalist, white interior, you have to stop by Little Oddfellows. You’ll have to wander through the Elliot Book Company (which is amazing by the way) to get to the café at the very end of the book store.
