It’s officially spring in Seattle! The cherry blossoms and
daffodils are blooming. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is around the corner.
And we experienced out first 75 degree day in months! Spring and summer are my
favorite seasons so I’m absolutely thriving with the flowers and sunshine.
I love spring and summer because I think my style falls under “everyday trendy spring”. My style is feminine and colorful. Sometimes it’s bold with prints like polka dots or leopard. Sometimes it’s sweet and frilly. I’m so excited for my spring wardrobe and to share a few spring outfit ideas you can wear this season!
Here are 5 Spring Outfits You Can Wear This Season
Cute Spring Outfits #1: Yellow Mini Dress and Cork Heels

If you love a plunging neckline, this Lulus Yellow Swiss Dot Mini Dress is for you! I love a mini dresses for spring. The ruffle sleeves are a fun feminine touch and the plunging neckline adds some edge to the dress. I styled this dress with minimal cork heeled sandals (a trend I’m anticipating this spring).

Cute Spring Outfits #2: Orange Peplum Top with Distressed Skinny Jeans

These STS Blue skinny jeans came in my Stitch Fix box last fall and I still love them because they fit me so well. I styled these jeans with one of my favorite spring tops from Who What Wear and white kitten heels. I wore this outfit to an ice cream date with my photographer Karya. And this outfit was first featured on Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places in Ballard earlier this month.

Cute Spring Outfits #3: Chambray Dress with White Stitching Flower Details

I picked up this spring dress from Nordstrom Rack over a
year ago and I still love it! The dress can be worn off the shoulder and on the
shoulder. I first featured this dress on 8
Ways to Pose with Food for Your Instagram.
I would recommend wearing a chambray dress with floral details to dessert, brunch, or even the farmers markets on weekends!
Cute Spring Outfits #4: Polka Dots & Bold Jeans

This is one of my favorite outfits I’ve styled this spring
so far. I wanted to contrast the bold colors and structure of these Levi’s
jeans with something softer. I opted to style these jeans with a polka dotted
square neck top, white heels, and a black bag I picked up for TJ Maxx last
year.
Style Tip: If you choose a bolder jean design, I recommend either keeping it simple with a white top or softening it with a smaller or discrete pattern like polka dots.

Cute Spring Outfits #5: Distressed Denim Skirt and Square Neck Top

I’ve been wearing denim skirts these last two spring/summers
and I’m not done with them yet. I picked up this distressed denim skirt from
H&M last year and I styled it for fall. I’m so excited to style this skirt
for spring again!
I chose this square neck top from Who What Wear’s Target
Collection plus the white kitten heels featured above. I also styled my hair
with hair barrettes – a hot trend right now for spring. If you’re looking for
different hair barrettes to wear this season, you can check out Spring
Trend Alert! Hair Barrettes for inspiration.
Style Tip: If you’re loving the geometric hair barrettes like me, put two different shapes together to create a unique look! While I’m loving the chunky pearl barrettes on Instagram, I also wanted to be a little different. No one has really started rocking the geometric shapes yet!
