Hi I’m Emma and I love looking for the most Instagrammable
places in Seattle and every city I visit! As a fashion/lifestyle blogger, I
gravitate towards flowers, textures, colorful walls, and beautiful places. I’ve
shared with you guys Seattle’s
Most Instagrammable Places in Capitol Hill, Pioneer
Square, and even the most
Instagram worthy dessert places!
I’ve spent the last few weekends exploring Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood and hunting for the most photo worthy spots so I’m excited to share this blog post with you.

Before we get started though, where is Ballard in Seattle?
Ballard is a waterfront neighborhood next to Fremont and
south of Greenwood. Ballard was one of the first neighborhoods I explored when
I entered my freshman year at the University of Washington. There’s a ton of
great restaurants, coffee shops, as well as Golden Gardens Park and the Ballard
Locks.
Even though I love exploring Ballard, I find myself going to
the same places in Capitol Hill, the U-district, and even Downtown over and
over again. So I was excited to great an Instagram guide for Ballard because I
knew it would inspire me to spend more time in this neighborhood.
If you’re interested in exploring Ballard more this year or you’re planning a trip to Seattle soon, this blog post is for you! I’m sharing:
8 Most Instagrammable Places in Ballard!
1. Bauhaus Coffee (Mural outside the coffee shop)

Bauhaus Coffee (inside)

Address: 2001 NW
Market St, Seattle, WA 98107
Did you know that Bauhaus is one of Seattle’s first
independent coffee shops? Founded in 1993, Bauhaus was originally located in
Capitol Hill. It made its move to Ballard in 2013. I absolutely love the mural
outside the coffee shop and the book cases inside.
2. Frankie & Jo’s

Address: 1411 NW
70th St, Seattle, WA 98117
If you’re a fan of plant based ice cream, you have to check
out Frankie & Jos. I first featured Frankie & Jo’s in my Instagram
worthy places Capitol Hill round up. Their second location in Ballard is
absolutely adorable and definitely needed to be a part of Seattle’s Most
Instagrammable Places in Ballard.
Additionally, the two co-founders Kari Brunson and Autumn
Martin are BOSS ladies. Kari founded the Juice Box Café in 2012 in Capitol
Hill. While Autumn founded Hot Cakes in 2002 (one of my favorite dessert spots
in Seattle). The two ladies came together in 2016 to create Frankie & Jos!
3. Lightning Bolt Wall Outside of Seattle Pilates Collective

Address: 5601 20TH AVE NW Seattle, WA
98107
After stumbling upon the lightning bolt after visiting Verve
Bowls, I knew I had to add them to Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places in
Ballard. This lightning bolt wall outside of Seattle Pilates Collective.
Founded by Nathalie & Jake, Seattle Pilates Collective has two locations in Ballard and Greenlake. If you’re looking for a new work out and are interested in trying pilates, I highly recommend checking them out! I’ve taken a few classes in their Greenlake location and enjoyed learning how to work out on the Pilates machine.

4. Woodland Coffee

Address: 1417 NW
54th St #101, Seattle, WA 98107
Tucked behind Safeway in Ballard is Woodland Coffee. It’s one of the cutest coffee shops I’ve found so far in Seattle! I love the wood accents and how this place is decorated on the inside. After seeing this coffee shop on Yelp, I knew we had to stop by and include them in Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places in Ballard.

5. Poke Lover

Address: 2215 NW
Market St, Seattle, WA 98107
If you love poke bowls and flower walls, you have to stop by Poke Lover in Ballard. Karya and I literally went here to eat lunch and then take photos! This floral wall definitely made its spot into Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places in Ballard.

6. Cupcake Royale

Address: 2052 NW
Market St, Seattle, WA 98107
If you’re looking for pink chairs and
something sweet to eat, stop by Cupcake Royale in Ballard. Cupcake Royale has
so many fun cupcake flavors like whiskey maple bacon and the grasshopper. You
can also find other locations in West Seattle, Downtown, and Queen Anne.
7. Verve Bowls

Address: 1764 NW
56th St, Seattle, WA 98107
Have you ever had an acai bowl or a honey lavender latte? If both sound delicious to you, you have to stop by Verve Bowls in Ballard. Their black and white leaf print wallpaper was one of the most Instagrammable walls I saw in the entire neighborhood!

8. Parfait

Address: 2034 NW 56th Street Seattle, WA 98107
Did you know that “parfait” means perfect in French? Parfait was one of my favorite stops shooting for Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places in Ballard. The employees of the dessert shop were so sweet, they gave us extra ice cream to feature in our photo shoot! I personally LOVED the push pop ice cream.
If you’re wrapping a lunch or dinner date, I highly recommend stopping by Parfait for dessert!

I hope you enjoyed Seattle’s Most Instagrammable Places in Ballard!
Have you visited any of these places before?
Thank you for reading!
Love,
Emma

I need to try Parfait! I always look forward to your Instagram guides and sounds like we might need to do some playdates in Ballard this summer for cute photos!
