Happy almost 4th of July! Here are a few 4th of July outfit ideas you can copy this summer.

Like many other Americans out there, I love to spend the 4th
of July eating BBQ, watching fireworks, and of course, sporting some sort of
red, white, and blue. These last few years, we’ve spent the 4th of
July at a friend’s property out on the Puget Sound. We usually eat, play lawn
games, play with the dogs, eat some more, and then watch the fireworks.
Whether you spend your 4th of a July on a boat, at a family picnic, or at a park to watch the fireworks, here are a few outfit ideas for you this season:
4th of July Outfit Ideas You Can Wear

1. The red gingham dress

Gingham is a staple summer print. I was ecstatic when I
found this red gingham dress in my latest Stitch Fix fix! I knew it was going
to be a great summer dress and probably my first choice for the 4th
of July. This lightweight dress hugs my waist highlighting my petite frame. At
the same time, this dress isn’t too form fitting so I feel comfortable eating
tons of watermelon and BBQ while wearing it.

2. The halter top and denim shorts
For something casual and fun like a water gun/water balloon fight, I’d recommend wearing a halter top and denim shorts. I also picked up these Madewell shorts in my last Stitch fix delivery and this halter top from American Eagle Outfitters.

3. White blouse and cropped jeans
Personally I’ve worn this outfit out on weekends and packed it for a trip to San Francisco earlier this spring. The white blouse with cropped jeans combo is super easy to rock and recreate. I’d wear this if the 4th of July was a little bit cooler – and sometimes it is in Seattle!

This is one of my favorite pairs of jeans I picked up this spring. The brand is called Pistola and I first discovered them last fall. I was surprised that these cropped jeans are actually cropped jeans on me because I’m on the petite side.

4. White tank top + Red midi skirt
Do you have any midi skirts in your summer wardrobe? I only have a few and this red striped midi skirt is becoming one of my favorites. It would be perfect to wear for a 4th of July family event!
