Are you looking for stylish winter outfit ideas this season? Here are 8 winter outfits you can copy!

Two of my favorite things about the winter season are
layering and textures. You can add blanket scarves on top of sweaters and jackets.
You can wear fun pom beanies and big velvet headbands.
I also love wearing mixing knits with prints. One of my
favorite winter outfits last year was layering a grey knit sweater over a polka
dotted dress. Winter is a great way to experiment with layers and still be
comfortable and cozy.
Here are 8 Stylish Winter Outfit Ideas You Can Wear
Winter Outfit #1: Big Headband & Blanket Scarf

Look out! Big Headband Energy (BHE) coming through! One trend I saw pop up during fall New York Fashion Week was headbands. I’m all in on the headbands trend and I predict this hair accessory will become a staple in 2020. I picked up this velvet headband at Primark while visiting Boston last month.

Here are a few more headbands you can add to your winter wardrobe:
Winter Outfit #2: Festive Winter Sweater

If you’re looking for a fun winter sweater but want to save some money, I recommend thrifting your festive winter sweater. I picked up this American Eagle Outfitters sweater at Value Village earlier this month for $7. The sweater was in great condition and after throwing it in the washer/dryer, my sweater was as good as new.

Winter Outfit #3: Plaid Jacket and White Combat Boots

One print that’s always a staple during the winter season is plaid. I picked up this plaid jacket from Lulus this past fall. I recommend styling a plaid jacket with a white sweater, jeans, and white combat boots. FYI – Seychelles gifted these white combat boots. Thank you Seychelles!

Here are a few plaid jackets that might work for you this season:

Winter Outfit #4: Christmas Sweater

If you’re looking for a Christmas sweater to wear to an ugly Christmas sweater party, I would again recommend thrifiting your sweater. Most people use their ugly Christmas sweater a few times before they send it to the donation bin.
I found this J. Crew Christmas sweater at Value Village for under $10. I originally featured my Christmas sweater outfit in Thrifted Holiday Outfit Ideas from Value Village.

Winter Outfit #5: Fair Isle Sweater Outfit

I picked up this Fair Isle Sweater from Modcloth last year and I still LOVE IT. Fair Isle sweaters are a classic winter print. I originally wore this sweater to Pittsburgh last winter and brought it out again for 8 Winter Photo Props You Can Use for Photos.

Here are some of my favorite Fair Isle sweaters out right now:
Winter Outfit #6: Plaid Shirt and Puffy Jacket

I’ve had this puffy jacket for over 3 years now and it’s a staple in my winter wardrobe. I brought it with me to Boston last month and I styled it with a plaid Madewell shirt that came in my last Stitch Fix. This ended up being a great travel outfit. The plaid shirt broke up the long black puffy jacket and the beanie added texture.

Here are some of my favorite puffy jackets and plaid shirts:
Winter Outfit #7 Cozy Knit Matching Set

I loved this cozy matching set gifted from Princess Polly!
This was my first knit on knit outfit I wore this past fall/winter. I recommend
pairing matching knit sets with lug boots (also another big trend for 2020) and
adding a pop of print with a mini leopard print bag.
Winter Outfit # 8: Stripe Sweater and Blanket Scarf

One winter accessory I can’t live without is my blanket scarf! I got this blanket scarf last year at American Eagle Outfitters and I still love it! I wore my blanket scarf out to Snoqualmie Pass for Maddy and I’s 12 Days of Christmas Instagram challenge.

Here are a few blanket scarves you can add to your winter wardrobe:

Cute outfit ideas Emma and I am all about ugly sweaters! I love how unique and quirky they are. I know their shelf life isn’t too long but I will never give mine away. 🙂 Btw, that’s a pretty two piece knit set. It looks beautiful on you.

Perfect timing for this post! Appreciating the time and effort you put into your website and in-depth information you offer. Thank you so much for these patterns – and thank you to the OPs too. Delightful and lovely ideas, I’d never have thought of them myself! Worth sharing! Please do continue sharing updates! Thanks!
I recommend styling a plaid jacket with a white sweater, jeans, and white combat boots. Because I also tried this combination for winter fashion point of view.
My sister’s birthday is fast approaching, and since Winter is coming, I’m thinking of buying Shearling Ladies Slippers for her. Well, you’re also right that it would be an excellent idea to buy big headband energy that she may use. Although, this American Eagle outfitter seems like a great present too.
