Between planning a wedding, working full time, blogging, and launching a podcast, life has been incredibly busy! I was so excited when the W Seattle reached out to host my friend Maddy and me for a girl’s weekend.

Where is the W Seattle located?

1112 4th Ave Seattle WA 98101

What are things you
can do near the W Seattle?

The W Seattle is located a great spot in Downtown Seattle.
It’s close to food, shopping, and local attractions. Here are a few things you
can do near the W Seattle:

Explore Pike Place
Market
: 10-13 min walk

Pike Place Market is probably one of the top attractions in
Seattle. It’s also walking distance from the hotel. I’d recommend walking through
the market, watching the fish get thrown, and stopping by the original
Starbucks store.

Explore the Seattle Waterfront:
10 min walk

With the Alaskan Way Viaduct removed, the Seattle Waterfront
has really opened up. I recommended taking a ride on the Seattle Great Wheel. You get such a
unique perspective of the city from the ferris wheel.

I also recommend taking an Argosy cruise around the Puget
Sound, eating at either Anthony’s
Pier 66
or Ivar’s,
and visiting the Seattle
Aquarium.

Walk through the Seattle
Public Central Library
: 2 min walk

The Seattle Public Library Downtown location is probably one of the coolest buildings in Seattle. The library was closed and renovated from 2001 to 2004. This library has 11 floors and 1.45 million books and materials.

Explore the Seattle
Art Museum
: 6 min walk

If you’re looking to immerse yourself in art, I recommend
stopping by the Seattle Art Museum. They have some great visiting exhibits in
the past!

Shop at Westlake
Center
: 7 min walk

If you’re looking to get some shopping down in Downtown
Seattle, I recommend stopping by Westlake Center. Some of my favorite shops in
the mall and surrounding area are Zara, Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom, and Sephora!

What are some of the highlights from our girl’s weekend?

Room Service/Brunch in Bed

Our beds were so comfortable that we decided to order brunch in bed! I never usually order room service so it was nice to splurge and treat ourselves to a big breakfast.

The hotel also gifted us champagne and orange juice for mimosas!

The chocolate cake for dessert

Maddy and I had spent almost the entire day shooting for
Valentine’s Day content. We grabbed dinner at Noi Thai Cuisine and we decided
to head back to the hotel for dessert. We ended up sharing a small chocolate
cake down at the lounge!

The hotel room views

One thing I always value is a good view. Maddy and I loved our city view of the hotel! You can’t see it in the photo, but our hotel room had a great view of the Seattle Public Library.

Productive Weekend of Planning

While Maddy and I did have a chance to relax during our girl’s
weekend, we were also productive. Maddy and I are launching the Content
Creatives Podcast next month. During our weekend stay at the W Seattle, we
nailed down our mission statement, decided on brand colors, and outlined 3
podcast episodes!

Thank you again to the W Seattle for hosting us for a girl’s weekend!
