Are you ready for our February Wedding Update?

February Wedding Update - Emma's Edition

Hi everyone! It’s been an eventful start to 2020 and we’re 8 months away from getting married. In our January Wedding Update, I shared our date, venue, and colors. Even though I feel like I still have a ton to do, we did get to cross off a few important things off our wedding to do list.

Here are our February Wedding Update Highlights:

1.We secured our bridesmaid dress sponsor: Birdy Grey

I’m so excited to partner with Birdy Grey for our bridesmaid
dresses. If you haven’t heard of Birdy Grey before, they’re a female founded company
who offers bridesmaid dresses at $99.

One of the cool things about Birdy Grey is that you can
order swatches before you have your bridesmaids order their dresses. The swatches
give you an opportunity to see the fabric in real life. I’ve been showing the
swatches to my bridesmaids and my sister (maid of honor) and we’re narrowing
down our colors.

2. We found our day of coordinator: Infinity Weddings and Events by Gen

My sister (MOH) was incredibly helpful in helping me find
our day of coordinator for our wedding. She shared Gen’s Instagram page and
website and we decided to reach out to her to see if she was available for our
fall wedding.

We had a great phone call consultation. She asked questions and brought up details (like moving ceremony flowers into the reception area) that I hadn’t thought of yet. We’re excited to have her help us execute our wedding day!

3. I found my wedding dress with Desiree Hartsock!

I’m so excited to share that I’m partnering with Desiree Hartsock for my wedding dress. Desiree is gifting my wedding gown! I’ll be sharing a full blog post of my wedding dress shopping experience these next few months. I can’t wait to share my favorite wedding gowns I tried on at the Desiree Hartsock Seattle Pop Up Shop.

4. We sent out our Save the Dates

Brandon and I originally planned our photo shoot for our Save the Dates in December. But with the Holidays and crazy amount of rain, we had to push back our photo shoot to January. I’m so happy with the way our photos turned out! It was hard to pick which photo was going to go on our Save the Dates.

5. I got an engagement inspired manicure with Varnish Seattle

I’ve been collaborating with Varnish Seattle on a monthly basis. In January, we decided to do an engagement inspired manicure. My friend/photographer Holly original got this manicure last fall. I was obsessed with the way Kim did the marbling that I knew I needed to get the same style/design for our Save the Date photo shoot.
