I’m finally back on the wedding planning train after taking a few months off. I’m excited to share my wedding dress shopping experience from this past January with Desiree Hartsock Bridal. This blog post was made in collaboration with Desiree Hartsock Bridal.

When the pandemic hit and Washington State shut down in March, wedding planning went out the window. But as I’ve settled into the new work/life/content creation at home routine, I’ve been able to start wedding planning again. I’ve been waiting a few months to share this but I’m so excited to share that I found my wedding dress this past January.
And I’m so excited to share that Desiree Hartsock Bridal is gifting me wedding gown! We’re also offering 10% a Desiree Hartsock gown with promo code EMMA10.

Where did I find my wedding dress?
I found my wedding dress at the Desiree Hartsock Seattle Pop-Up Shop this past January. Desiree and her team set up the pop up bridal shop at the Theodore Hotel in downtown Seattle.
Who is Desiree Hartsock Bridal?
Desiree Siegfried is the wedding gown designer for Desiree Hartsock Bridal. Desiree designs free-spirited and inspired bridal styles for the modern bridge. She designs beautiful dresses that bring about confidence and elegance. You might recognize Desiree from the 9th season of the Bachelorette. Prior to the show, Desiree was a bridal stylist for over a decade.
How did I meet Desiree?
Desiree and I first met at an event in Seattle a few years ago. She was the guest of honor and at the end of her panel, I came up to introduce myself. I don’t watch the Bachelor or the Bachelorette so I had no idea who she was until that evening. She said she recognized me from somewhere, but I insisted we had never met before. Even though we only had a 5 min conversation, we hit it off and ended up following each other on Instagram.
Fast forward to last fall 2019, Brandon and I announced our engagement. Desiree messaged me to congratulate me and also to invite me to the Desiree Hartsock Bridal Pop-Up Shop in Seattle. I was so excited to hear from her and learn that her team and her gowns were coming to Seattle.
How was the Desiree Hartsock Bridal Pop-Up Shop?
I had so much fun trying on wedding dresses and was so happy to have my sister, mom, and future mother-in-law there. Desiree and her team member helped me try on 6 different gowns until I found the one!
I was worried that some gowns might be too overwhelming for my petite frame (I’m about 5ft tall) but I realized that the silhouettes actually highlighted my figure. I was surprised that almost every gown I tried on felt great on. Personally, I love the fitted bodices and the lace, elegant elements in her gowns.
Here are some of my favorite dresses from the Seattle Pop-Up Shop:

I’ll be sharing my wedding gown on the big day! Thank you again to Desiree for gifting my wedding dress. I’m so excited to walk down the aisle in this dress and marry Brandon!
