Maddy and I love the fall season in the Pacific Northwest. We love the fall leaves, the pumpkin patches, the apple orchards, and of course the fall fashion. We have so much fun planning fall photo shoots and outfits that I thought it would be fun to share all the fall photo ideas we’ve done from last year and this year.

Here are 10 Fall Photo Ideas with Friends:

# 1 Lay in the fall leaves

Maddy, Sam, and I were driving back from Kirkland and we saw these beautiful fall leaves at a random business park! We had to stop and snap a few photos. Maddy and I are laying in a random patch of grass in the business park in the middle of the parking lot!

# 2 Throw the fall leaves

If you want to capture some movement in your photos, throw the fall leaves with your friends! It took us a few tries to capture the fall leaves in the air but the photo ended up so cute.

# 3 Hold pumpkins at the pumpkin patch

Last fall, Maddy and I stopped by Craven Farms for the first time. We thought it would be cute to hold the pumpkins – it was a great way to incorporate a prop and show off our fall outfits.

# 4 Sit down on the pumpkins

If you’re looking for a variety of photos to take at the pumpkin patch, sit down on the pumpkins with your friends! It’s a fun way to change up the levels in your photo.

# 5 Grab a hot apple cider

While we were at the pumpkin patch, we decided to also grab hot cider! We stopped by the other pumpkin displays to snap these photos

# 6 Hangout by the mini pumpkins

If you’re looking to incorporate some fun gourds in your photo, grab a mini pumpkin with friends! This is an easy fall photo idea to do with friends. You can cover one eye with the mini pumpkin.

# 7 Hangout at a fall picnic

One of my favorite fall activities that Maddy, Sam, and I got to do this fall is have a fall picnic. We teamed up with @lavisionevents to do a fall picnic giveaway. These ladies did such a beautiful job setting up the fall picnic!

# 8 Walk through the pumpkin patch

An easy way to interact with friends for a photo shoot is to hold hands! Maddy and I shot this photo last fall when we were leaving Craven Farms!

#10 Sit down and enjoy the leaves

Maddy and I thought it would be fun just to sit down at Greenlake Park to enjoy the fall leaves!
