This blog post was made in collaboration by Waterl<ss Hair Care and all my opinions are my own.

What does your winter haircare routine look like? My personal winter hair care routine has both Waterl<ss dry shampoo and dry conditioner in it.
Can you believe we’re only a few weeks away from the official day of winter (December 21st)? Even though I’m excited about Thanksgiving food and the holiday season, some of my least favorite things about winter are the shorter days, the dry weather, and hair static/frizz. As much as I enjoy layering with sweaters and bringing out my favorite winter boots, the cold, dry weather isn’t fun for my skin or hair.

In order to combat hair static and winter frizz, I use Waterl<ss Dry Conditioner Instant Moisture as a part of my haircare routine. If you haven’t heard of dry conditioner before, it leaves your hair feeling soft and smooth. This leave-in conditioner spray is both paraben free and sulfate free. It helps detangle your hair without water and it helps you combat that winter frizz! I always apply dry conditioner after I’ve applied Waterl<ss Dry Shampoo No Residue to my cleanse my hair.
If you aren’t sure how to apply Waterl<ss Dry Conditioner, here are the three easy steps to apply it:
Waterl<ss Dry Conditioner also comes in three different types:
Dry Conditioner Weightless Smooth – This dry conditioner is great for fine to medium hair. This the dry conditioner I personally use! This bottle comes in two sizes: 3.6 oz and .98 oz.
Dry Conditioner Instant Moisture – This dry conditioner is best for thick hair. It helps condition dry hair and control frizz. This bottle comes in two sizes: 3.6 oz and .98 oz.
Hair Styling Balm Condition & Style – For thick or coily hair, the hair styling balm condition helps repair and strengthen hair. This bottle comes in 5.1 oz.

How often am I washing my hair vs. using dry shampoo and conditioner?
Even in the winter months, I maintain my running routine because I need the endorphins. I usually have 3 long-ish runs a week (4-6 miles) so I’m washing my hair about 3 times a week. This means I use dry shampoo and conditioner during those 4 non-wash days. On days I’m not running, I’m doing yoga, stretching, or talking longer walks with my dog Boone. These non-wash and non-running days are also perfect days to create content for my blog and Instagram. I’m especially conscious of the winter hair frizz and hair static before photo shoots. I want to make sure my hair looks smooth and feels soft.
