Are you looking for a New Year’s Eve photo shoot idea? Here are a few NYE photo shoot ideas you can set up yourself or with a friend!
Even though we’ll be ringing in the New Year at home, we can still embrace the New Year’s spirit! One way I love celebrating the holidays is by setting up photo shoots and creating content ideas for your blog, Instagram, TikTok, etc. Maddy and I decided to rent a hotel room to create these New Year’s Eve photos, but you can definitely just do these ideas at home.
Here are a few easy New Year’s Eve Photo Shoot Ideas:
Decorate your bathtub
All you need is new “2021” sign, your silver or gold garland from your Christmas tree, a disco ball, and a “Happy New Year” headband! This décor was super easy to hang up and we just draped the garland over the tub. You can also bring in your favorite bottle of champagne into this shot.
Lay inside the bathtub
To change the perspective of the shot, I recommend laying down in the bathtub. You can lay down in the tub with the disco ball and have your photographer shoot overhead. You’re using the same location but getting a completely different shot!
Lay a gold fringe backdrop on your bed
Instead of hanging this gold fringe backdrop, we decided to change it up and lay it down on the bed. The photos turned out so dynamic and I haven’t seen anyone use the fringe backdrop like this before.
Lay down on the floor
This past October, we rented a hotel room to take our Halloween photo shoots. We were so surprised when we saw the black and white floors. We thought it would be perfect for both a disco inspired shoot and a New Year’s Eve shoot.
