Are you looking for a Valentine’s or Galentine’s day posing ideas? Try setting up an indoor tea party! Here are a few ways you can pose for your Valentine’s Day tea party.

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day, one fun photo shoot idea to put together is a tea party. Maddy and I were inspired to dress up and put-on fun dresses and line up our favorite desserts. We partnered with Trophy Cupcakes, a local Seattle dessert company, for the mini–Valentine’s Day cupcakes and the Valentine’s Day macarons.
These desserts were perfect for the photo shoot and delicious for after the photo shoot. I highly recommend checking out Trophy Cupcakes if you’re looking to pick up something sweet for your Valentine or your Galentine. They have a delicious Valentine’s Day desserts available to order online and pick up in stores. We personally loved the dozen heart topped minis but I might go back and order either the Love Potion #9 (I can’t handle how cute this cupcake is) or the 24 Karat Chocolate (I love chocolate).
I found this tea set at Value Village. I was so excited when I found the whole tea set for under $20. If you’re also looking for a tea set, I recommend checking out your local secondhand store. I also picked up costume pearls to help fill the frame at Goodwill. Even if you aren’t planning a tea set photo shoot, I recommend shopping second hand if you are shopping for other props. There are always great props for photo shoots at either Goodwill or Value Village.
For our table and chairs, Maddy already had this patio furniture. We added a lace tablecloth, heart shaped doilies from the dollar store, and she picked up this dessert display from the Target seasonal section.
Here are a few ways you can pose for your Valentine’s Day tea party:

1.Spill the tea

2. Raise your tea kettle

3. Raise your dessert

4. Hold a box of macarons (or box of dessert)

5. Raise your cup of tea

6. Pour the tea
