Are you looking for fun Valentine’s Day posing ideas for you or a friend? We’re so excited to share a few Valentine’s Day posing ideas with a kissing booth.
Maddy and I have done a mix of both indoor and outdoor Valentine’s Day photo shoot ideas. We’ve put together an indoor tea party and also shared pink and red walls around Seattle. When Jon, a general contractor from @bamfun / https://bamfunllc.com/ reached out to see we could collaborate, I knew I wanted him to build us a booth that we could use every season.
You’ll be seeing this booth (hopefully) every season! It’s made of recycled/reclaimed materials. And it’s really easy to put together. The bottom piece is actually three pieces that fold out. The countertop also folds and rests on top of the the three bottoms pieces. And the two poles are slipped through square shaped rungs to hold them in place. The sign is actually metal but has been painted with chalk paint. Jon gave us the option to either stick magnets or just write out our signs with chalk.
For Valentine’s Day, Maddy and I thought it would be fun to bring in a lip shaped phone to the kissing booth as a play on the song, “Kiss me through the phone.”
Here are a few Valentine’s Day Posing Ideas: Kissing booth edition
1.Sit on the kissing booth and hold up the lip shaped phone
If you don’t have a fun phone to pose with, I recommend using props like a box of chocolates or even flowers to hold in your hands.
2.Pick up the phone to pretend to answer a call
Again, we wanted to play on the song title, “Kiss me through the phone” so we thought it would be fun to pretend to answer the phone.
3. Have your friend stand behind the booth and you stand in front of it
To play with layers in your photo, you can bring one subject closer to the camera. Maddy stayed behind the booth and I stood in front of it while pretending to answer the phone.
4. Stand behind the booth with your friend
Another easy valentine’s day posing idea with the kissing booth is for you and your friend to stand behind the booth.
You can play with your props – Maddy brought her fake roses, pink mailbox, and phone to the shoot. You can also play around with looking at each other and looking at the camera.
5. Throw your peace sign up
Peace signs are one of my go-to poses – especially when posing with friends!
