Can you believe Easter is just around the corner? Here are a few Easter posing ideas for your next photo shoot!
One of my favorite things to do is to shoot seasonal content with my friend Maddy. We’ve teamed up and put together photo shoot and posing ideas for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and now we’ve done combined our ideas for Easter. Whether you’re planning an Easter photo shoot with your kids or you’re planning an Easter photography session for your blog or Instagram, I hope these Easter posing ideas are helpful to you.
Here are 8 Easter posing ideas you can try:
Idea #1: Gather all the Easter baskets in your arms
If you’re looking for a place to buy Easter baskets, I recommend checking out your local thrift or secondhand store. I bought three baskets from Value Village and each basket was only a few dollars each.
Idea #2: Put an Easter basket on your head
Ideas #3: Place Easter baskets on different rungs of a ladder
One thing I was excited to set up for this Easter photo shoot was our wooden ladder. I thought it would be fun to incorporate it with the Easter baskets.
Idea #4: Set up an Easter Picnic/Easter egg hunt in your front yard
If you’re looking for an inexpensive picnic blanket, I recommend buying a seasonal tablecloth. Maddy picked this one up from Target. Target has a ton of seasonal tablecloths you can use as an actual table cloth, a backdrop, or even a picnic blanket for photo shoots.

Idea #5 Create a DIY Easter Egg backdrop
I used pastel cardstock paper and another seasonal tablecloth to create these Easter eggs. Since they’re made of paper, they’re easy to stick on the wall using tape.

Idea #6: Cover one eye with an Easter Egg
Another cute posing ideas for Easter is to lay Easter baskets around you and grab an Easter egg to cover one of your eyes.
Idea #7: Lay down with your Peeps
Maddy and I grabbed some peeps, a white sheet, and snapped a few photos!
