Are you and your best friend planning a photo shoot? Here are a few summer posing ideas you can do at a drive-in movie theater!

A few weeks ago, Maddy, Sam, and I went to BECU’s Drive-in Movies at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA. There has been pop up drive-in movies happening every summer at Marymoor Park for the last 17 years. Drive-in movies are a great best friend and family activity. Plus, you’re able to socially distance and watch the movie from the comfort of your own car.
The Drive-in Movies at Marymoor Park always sells out. I recommend setting an alarm for June 10th at 10:00am so you can purchase tickets for the next set of movies happening between June 30th-July 29th.
If you want to experience another Drive-in theater, I recommend checking out Blue Fox Drive-in on Whidbey Island. This theater is open 7-days a week and they have a snack bar where you can purchase food and drinks.
Maddy and I thought it would be fun to snap a few photos before the movie started. We got there an hour before the movie started to snap photos and stop by the food trucks.
Here are a few summer posing ideas with your best friend: Drive-in movie theater edition!
Pose #1: Sit on the back of your trunk
If you’re looking for an easy way to pose with your car at the drive-in theater, you can sit on top of the trunk of your car. Maddy and I sat right next to each other and looked at each other to capture this shot.

Pose #2: Pose through the car window
I thought it would be such a cute photo to use the car window as a natural frame. We rolled down the glass window, crouched down to fit in it, and played around with posing.

Pose #3: Throw your peace sign up
Throwing up a peace sign is always an easy way to pose for photos. This pose makes it easy to pose with your best friend – especially if you don’t know what to do with your hands.

Pose #4: Take turns sitting outside the window
You can’t quite fit two people outside a car window, so I recommend taking turns snapping a few photos sitting outside the car window.

Pose #5: Photo bomb your friend
I had no idea Maddy was going to photo bomb this photo. I was laughing when I saw it!

There you have it friends. Just a few summer posing ideas with your best friend!
