Are you looking for Instagram-worthy places in Seattle to check out this year? Me too!

As a local Seattle blogger, I love looking for Instagram-worthy spots around my home city. I’m always drawn to beautiful spaces. Whether they’re colorful, minimal, or in-between, I love visiting restaurants, coffee shops, and dessert spots in the Greater Seattle area that have been thoughtfully designed.
If you’re a local to the Greater Seattle area, I would encourage you to start exploring both inside and outside the city in the surrounding neighborhoods. There have been new businesses opening this past year and it’s been fun to start exploring South Seattle neighborhoods.
Here are 8 Instagram-worthy Places in Seattle to Check Out this year:
1. Flora Bakehouse in Beacon Hill
Address: 1511 S Lucile St, Seattle, WA 98108

Flora Bakehouse is the latest addition to the Café Flora family (Café Flora and Floret). You can find twice baked almond croissants, vegan cinnamon rolls, and more! Plus, there is a beautiful rooftop deck with views of Mount Rainier.

2. Di Fiora Restaurant in Capitol Hill
Address: 1320 University St suite 1, Seattle, WA 98101

My friend Maddy discovered Di Fiora on TikTok so this past summer we decided to check out the restaurant for a late lunch. We loved the aesthetic of this restaurant and food was also delicious! We ordered the korat chicken wings, Dungeness crab fried rice, and a few cocktails.

3. Treat Cookies in Burien
Address: 825 SW 152nd St Burien, Washington 9816

Founded by a mother-daughter team, Treat Cookies opened in Burien this past year. I was invited to come in right before the grand opening to the public and I created a TikTok video of my visit. I love the funfetti cookie and frosted sugar cookies!

4. Milk Drunk in Beacon Hill
Address: 2805 Beacon Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144
One neighborhood I’ve been exploring more lately is Beacon Hill. I recently visited Milk Drunk to try their swirl ice cream and it did not disappoint!

5. Editor Consignment in Ballard
Address: 1407 NW 70th St, Seattle, WA 98117

Editor Consignment is a women’s clothing shop in Ballard and is just a few doors from Franki & Jo’s Ballard location. Their beautiful door caught my eye! We ended up visiting when they were closed but I’d love to go back to explore the shop.
6. Candor Coffee in Renton, WA
Address: 200 SW 43rd St, Renton, WA 98057

If you’re looking for a cute coffee shop in the Renton area, I would recommend checking out Candor Coffee in Renton. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside this coffee shop.

7. Sugar & Spoon Dough in University District
Address: 4518 University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105
If you’re exploring the U-district or around University of Washington and you’re looking for something sweet, I recommend checking out Sugar & Spoon on the Ave. The hot pink brick and bright blue door is hard to miss!

8. Capitol Flora in Capitol Hill
Address: 500 E Pike St, Seattle, WA 98122
If you’re exploring Capitol Hill, I recommend checking out Capitol Flora for plants, floral arrangements, and other fun gifts. We wandered through this shop after we grabbed lunch at Di Fiora and picked up a few things!
