I’m celebrating my 30th birthday this month! I put together a few unique photo shoot ideas for my blog, Instagram, and TikTok. I loved getting dressed up and putting together 30th birthday photo shoot outfits too!

Idea 1: 30 Balloons in Bed
If you’re looking to set up your 30th birthday photo shoot at home, I recommend using your bedroom as the backdrop. I bought these 30th birthday balloons from Amazon and it came with a whole kit of balloons. I also bought a Balloon Buddy from Target to blow up all these balloons myself as well as the star garlands. I ordered the banner from Amazon. You can find my birthday set up and more:

Idea 2: 13 Going on 30 Dress
If you’re a fan of 13 Going on 30 the movie, you can find a lookalike 13 Going on 30 Dress on Amazon! I’m wearing a size small (size 32B) and it fits perfectly.
Idea 3: Hold a bouquet of balloons and throw paper confetti into the air
If you’re looking for an easy birthday photo shoot idea, I recommend picking up balloons and paper confetti. These two props made it easy to create a festive photo shoot.
Idea 4: Sit underneath a balloon display
I decided to splurge on a 30th birthday balloon display. I hired Confete Party Box, a local Seattle company, to come in and install this birthday balloon display.
Idea 5: Set up a fringe backdrop and surround yourself with balloons and presents
Idea 6: Blow paper confetti towards the camera
Idea 7: Pose with your birthday cake
