Are you heading out somewhere fun for your spring break? Here are 10 spring break travel essentials.

I recently took a girl’s trip/spring break trip to Oahu, Hawaii. We decided back in January that we wanted to go somewhere with plenty of sunshine and beaches. We had so much fun driving around the island and staying in Waikiki Beach. I also enjoyed seeing my family on the island.
It’s always such a process preparing and packing for a trip. I thought it would be helpful to lay out what to pack for your upcoming vacation or spring break trip.

Here are 10 Spring Break Travel Essentials:
Travel Essential 1: Carry-on Bag

My two favorite carry-on bags are from Dagne Dover and Vera Bradley. I love that both brands have a variety of bag sizes for carry-on bags. For my trip to Oahu, I brought my Dagne Dover Landon Small Duffle Bag. It fit right under the airplane seat in front of me perfectly. It was also a great size to fit my laptop, toiletries, and camera.
Travel Essential 2: Pair of White Sneakers

If you’re looking for a versatile item to pack in your upcoming spring break trip, I recommend packing a pair of white sneakers. White sneakers can be worn with everything. You can dress them up or down. You can wear a white pair of sneakers with dresses, shorts, or jeans.
A few white sneaker trends I’m seeing right now are platform sneakers and 90s/chunky sneakers.
Travel Essential 3: Sandals or Slides

I’ve had my white pair of Seychelles Shoes slides for a few seasons now and I still love them! Personally, I’ve been favoring slides vs. flip flops for the beach.
Travel Essential 4: Gauzy Button-Down Shirt

A spring break wardrobe must-have is a gauzy button-down shirt that can be worn as a layer to the beach or as a standalone top for everyday wear.
Travel Essential 5: Sunscreen

Please don’t forget to pack sunscreen for your face and body for your spring break trip!
Travel Essential 6: Packing Cubes

Packing cubes has helped me streamline how I pack for trips as well as prevent me from overpacking. I typically organize my packing cubes into:
- Intimates (underwear, bras, sports bras, etc.)
- Tops/Blouses
- Pants/Shorts/or Bottoms
- Dresses
Travel Essential 7: Basic Dresses

I recommend packing dresses that you can dress up or down and wear to the beach. If you aren’t sure about prints or colors, I recommend just adding one white or one black dress to your spring break wardrobe.
Travel Essential 8: Swimsuits
