Are you looking for where to take Eiffel Tower photos your first time in Paris? I recently just explored Paris for the first time and I’m excited to share the best Eiffel tower photo spots we visited in the city.
All photos featured in the blog post were taken by my friend and photographer Karya Schanilec.

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks in France. Completed in 1889, the Eiffel Tower was built for the World’s Fair of 1889. The Eiffel Tower is in Champ-de-Mars and can be seen from various points in the city. You can read more about the Eiffel Tower’s history on the “Design of the Eiffel Tower” official website.
Whether you’re looking to take photos right next to the Eiffel Tower or you want to capture it from a distance, here are 10 Eiffel Tower Photo Spots for your first time in Paris.
#1: Alley next to Castle Café
Address: 5 Av. Suffren 75007 Paris

This alley is closed off to traffic and a designated photo spot for the Eiffel Tower.
#2: Top of the Arc de Triomphe
Address: P. Charles de Gaulle 75008 Paris

I had no idea you could buy tickets to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. We bought tickets online ahead of time for the 10 am opening. We avoided the crowds and got beautiful views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
The Arc de Triomphe was built under the order of Napoleon. The Arc de Triomphe was completed in 1830 and opened in 1836.
#3: Palais Galliera
Address: 10 Av. Pierre 1er de Serbie 75116

We originally went to Palais de Tokyo to snap an Eiffel Tower but discovered that the museum’s outdoor restaurant had expanded. We decided to stop by Palais Galleria (Museum of fashion and fashion history) and discovered this Eiffel Tower photo spot!
#4: Pont Alexandre III Bridge

The Pont Alexandre III bridge spans over the Seine River and connects Petit Palais on the right bank to the Invalides on the left bank. You can capture a great photo of the Eiffel Tower from the bridge.
#5 Champ de Mars

Champ de Mars is a large public greenspace in the 7th Arrondissement. If you’re visiting Paris for the first time, I’d recommend walking through this public park. It gets quite busy during the day so just be prepared for crowds!
#6 Ave de Camoens
Address: 75116 Paris, France

If you’re looking to avoid the crowds at the Trocadero, I’d recommend walking over to Ave de Camoens instead. It’s way less crowded and you get a dreamy shot of the Eiffel Tower!
#7 Pont Bir Hakeim
Address: Pont de Bir-Hakeim, 75015 Paris, France

You can get a great photo of the Eiffel Tower walking through Bir Hakeim. Please be mindful of the main bike path and the cars. I recommend stepping out to this section of the bridge to snap photos. We went first thing in the morning and had the space all to ourselves!

#8 Rue de l’Université

Rue de l’Université is right next to Champ de Mars. This alley is closed off for photos. There are usually lots of people stopping by to snap photos so I’d recommend either getting creative with how you take the photo or coming as early as you can.
#9 The 5th-floor balcony at the Centre Pompidou
Address: 1 Rue de la Légion d’Honneur, 75007 Paris, France

On our last full day in Paris, we wandered through the Centre Pompidou exhibits. We saw original works by Picasso, Yves Saint Laurent, modern and contemporary pieces, and more! On our way out of the exhibit, we stopped to take a few photos on the 5th-floor balcony. I was surprised by how beautiful the view of Paris was from the museum!
#10 Ave de. New York near the Flame of Liberty

Another easy spot to take a photo with the Eiffel Tower is on Ave de New York near the Flame of Liberty. The Flame of Liberty is a full-size replica of the flame of the Statue of Liberty. This Eiffel Tower photo spot is in the 16th Arrondissement.
