Are you getting ready for fall family photos or couples’ photos? Here are fall picture outfit ideas to check out.
One of my favorite seasons to dress for is fall. I love wearing layers, mixing textures, and dressing for cooler temperatures. I also love taking photos during fall in the Pacific Northwest. Personally, I always stop by to capture photos and videos at local pumpkin patches as well as parks to see the changing leaves.
If you’re planning a fall photo shoot soon and need some fall outfit inspiration, this blog post is for you.

Here are 8 Fall Picture Outfit Ideas for Women
Fall Outfit 1: Quilted Green Jacket & Stripe Sweater
If you’re looking for a casual fall outfit for a photo shoot, I recommend styling a quilted green jacket, a stripe sweater, and pair of boots. Pairing a subtle texture (quilted fabric) with an easy pattern like navy stripes is a great way to elevate a casual fall outfit.

Fall Outfit 2: Long Coatigan & Hat
If you’re looking for a way to add some height to a petite frame, I recommend styling a coatigan with a hat for your fall photo shoot. I wore this outfit last year to a local pumpkin patch up in Mount Vernon. This was one of my favorite fall looks!

Fall Outfit 3: Chambray Top & Combat Boots
If you’re looking to style a more laid-back, casual fall outfit, I recommend putting together chambray (denim color) top and your favorite pair of combat boots. I personally invested in a pair of Dr. Martens combat boots and have worn them for the last few fall and winter seasons.

Fall Outfit 4: Pleated Skirt & Cowboy Boots
If you’re looking for a trendy fall look for your upcoming fall photo shoot, I recommend mixing these two fall trends together: a pleated skirt and a pair of western boots.

Fall Outfit 5: Plaid shirt & Hat
Another easy fall picture outfit idea is a plaid shirt with your favorite pair of jeans. I picked up this plaid/flannel shirt from TJ Maxx last season. But there are so many other great retailers to find plaid shirts at like Abercrombie, American Eagle Outfitters, and ThredUp.

Shop flannel shirts:

Fall Outfit 6: Chunky Loafers & A Cardigan
If you’re looking to elevate a simple fall outfit, I recommend adding a pair of chunky loafers to your look. I’m predicting that loafers continue to make a statement this fall season. If you aren’t sure how to style them, keep the rest of your outfit simple with a pair of blue cropped jeans, a blank tank top, and a white cardigan. I picked up these Steve Madden loafers last season and I’m so excited to style them for this fall again.

Fall Outfit 7: Puffy Jacket & Your Favorite Pair of Booties
If it’s a cooler fall day, I recommend wearing a puffy jacket and your favorite pair of booties. Personally, I picked up these Blondo boots from Nordstrom last fall. They’re waterproof and they’re perfect for the pumpkin patch and Seattle fall weather.

Fall Outfit 8: Oversized Blazer & Monochrome Look
If you’re looking for a more stylish fall outfit for your fall photo shoot, I recommend breaking up a monochrome look with an oversized blazer. I picked up this blazer from Anthropologie a few fall seasons back and I still love it!
