Are you looking to build a fall capsule wardrobe this season? Here are five items your fall capsule wardrobe needs.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to be pickier about the pieces I bring into my wardrobe. As I looked at refreshing my fall wardrobe, I realized I only needed a few key pieces. Some pieces, like the Chelsea boots and crewneck sweaters I already had last season (or even two seasons ago), are still pieces I use today. Other pieces, like a classic white silk button shirt and brown suede jacket, were essential pieces I was missing in my closet.
Luckily, I found some of these key items at Banana Republic Factory. I recently did an Instagram campaign with the brand. While they didn’t ask me to create a blog post, I loved the pieces I received so much that I included them in my fall capsule wardrobe items. I’ll wear some of these items again and again, this fall and winter.
Here are 5 pieces to add to your fall capsule wardrobe:
Suede is one of my favorite materials to wear during fall. This suede jacket from Banana Republic Factory is the perfect layering piece.
A crewneck sweater is a classic fall wardrobe staple. It can be layered with a collared shirt or layered with a jacket.
White Button Blouse
A white button blouse is a must-have in your fall capsule wardrobe. Like the crewneck sweater, it’s both a layering piece. You can wear a tank top, t-shirt, or sweater tank underneath a white button blouse. Or you can layer a sweater vest or cardigan sweater over the white button shirt.
A Denim Dress
I picked up this denim dress at Aritzia a few seasons ago, and I still love it!
I’ve been wearing Chelsea boots the last few fall and winter seasons. One of my favorite pairs of boots is my pair of Blondo boots from Nordstrom last year.
