Are you planning a weekend trip to Austin soon? Here are a few Instagram spots in Austin you can visit in one weekend!
I can’t believe that it’s been over a year since I’ve traveled and created an Instagrammable places guide. I went from traveling at least once a month and creating Instagram guides for cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. And then the pandemic hit, and all of my travels stopped for a year.
I’m excited the world is slowly opening up. Right now (spring 2021), the CDC recommends that travelers have a negative covid-19 test (if you aren’t fully vaccinated) before traveling to their destination. I recommend reading the CDC Domestic Travel Guidelines and the state/city guidelines before you hop on an airplane to your destination.
To travel safely, I got covid-19 test from King County and confirmed that I tested negative for the virus before I got on an airplane. I also wore two masks to be safe and frequently washed my hands or used hand sanitizer. Masks are required for the airport and the airlines.
My sister and I were excited to explore Austin for a weekend (2 nights and one day). If you’re looking to visit Austin soon, here is a list of 10 Most Instagrammable Places in Austin to visit for a weekend!

We parked at the garage and then walked through campus to get to the museum.
