Are you looking for a fun Seattle summer activity to do with friends or your partner? Plan a summer picnic with one of the local Seattle picnic companies.
One of my favorite things to do in the summertime is have picnics. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors, relax, and catch up with friends and family. Luckily in Seattle, we have great Seattle picnic companies that have popped over the last few years hosting luxury picnics. Whether you’re planning an anniversary or just looking to catch up with friends, a Seattle summer activity you can plan to do is a picnic.
I recently collaborated with a new luxury pop up picnic company in Seattle: The Picnic Dream. Founded by Sydney in 2021, the Picnic Dream offers pop up picnics for anniversaries, birthdays, proposals, and hangouts. While food doesn’t come standard with this company’s picnic experience, you’re free to bring your own charcuterie board and food. I ended up picking stuff up for a charcuterie board during my weekly trip to the grocery store for me and Holly’s picnic.
Prices range depending on your party size – a party of two starts at $90 and a party of 6 is at $170. You can book your picnic experience on the Picnic Dream’s website. The Picnic Dream primarily services the Seattle/Bellevue area.
Other picnic companies to check out in the Greater Seattle area:
La Vision Events – Maddy and I worked with La Vision Events for a fall picnic giveaway last year. The ladies did a beautiful job setting up our fall picnic in Juanita Beach Park in Kirkland. La Vision is an events company that also offers wedding coordination as well as party planning services.
The Picnic Party Seattle – This picnic company offers a staycation package, date night package with a clear bubble tent, and a celebration package.
Where should you have your picnic? Where are the Seattle picnic spots?
If you’re looking for local parks around the Greater Seattle area, there’s lots to choose from.
Here are a few parks to check out for your next summer picnic date:
- Gene Coulon Park in Renton, WA
- Greenlake Park in Seattle, WA
- Discovery Park in Seattle, WA
- Richmond Beach Saltwater Park in Shoreline, WA

Each Seattle picnic company has specific areas they service so I would encourage you to look at their website and Instagram pages to see which cities they’ve hosted picnics at.
