This holiday season, my friend Maddy and I headed off to Leavenworth, WA. Leavenworth is a Bavarian Village located in the Cascade Mountains. While this small mountain town wasn’t originally made as a Bavarian style village, in the 1960s, the town’s leaders decided to change the town’s appearance to draw in visitors. Leavenworth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Pacific Northwest. While it’s a beautiful town to visit during spring and summer, Leavenworth is extra special during the holiday season.

Posthotel Leavenworth is a beautiful hotel. If you plan on staying in the Posthotel, I highly recommend scheduling your trip 3-6 months out in advance. We booked our December stay at the Post Hotel back in June 2021. We were shocked how far in advance we had to book a reservation but we’re so glad we did it!

3. Das Sweet Shoppe

5. Blackbird Lodge

If you plan on visiting Leavenworth Reindeer Farm, you must book reservations ahead of time, especially if you plan to visit during the holiday season.

Overall, the entire Downtown Leavenworth area is adorable. You can pretty much take photos on every building and street corner!
